Sugar and Spice...not everyone's nice.
In the deliciously entertaining conclusion to the L.A. Candy series, New York Times bestselling author and star of the hit TV show The Hills Lauren Conrad pulls back the curtain on young Hollywood and shows that sometimes the real drama is behind the scenes.
Fresh from being betrayed by one of her closest friends, new reality-TV celebrity Jane Roberts has learned a few lessons. Most important: know who to trust. And in Hollywood, that list is short.
Although the press is intent on creating a tabloid war between her and ex-friend, current-costar Madison Parker, Jane just wants to take control of her life. She’s started by swearing off guys and the drama that comes with them. But when her high school sweetheart Caleb and her unrequited L.A. crush Braden show up, both acting sweeter than ever, Jane has a hard timeremembering her no-boys rule....
Her best friend, Scarlett, has only one guy on her mind: her new boyfriend, Liam. The girl who once thought love was a four-letter word is now head over heels. The problem is, being on a hit reality show means hanging out with other guys on-camera, and Liam isn’t too happy with pretending to play a bit part in her love life.
Just when everything feels out of control, Jane makes a shocking discovery—one that changes everyone’s definition of “reality” forever.

"After finishing LA Candy I almost had to know what happened next. I didn't particularly like the ending but that's how the story ended. I finished this in again one day, even though I started reading it 3 days ago. It's junk but good junk. A brain fry read. "
— Lily (4 out of 5 stars)
“Scandalous!”
— Teen Now" Great book to end the series! Amazing! "
— Carli, 2/20/2014" Why do I keep reading these?! "
— Penina, 2/20/2014" The series is done and so am I. If you are a young adult this would be an good series of books for you to read especially if you were a big 'The Hills' fan. If not then it will probably be a waste of your reading time. "
— Laura, 2/18/2014" I hate to say this because I don't want to read anymore of these books but I wish there would have been more of a wrap-up. I felt like it just ended and I wanted to know more of what happened. "
— Samantha, 2/17/2014" Read this book in a day. Such an easy read and I wish it was a bit longer. I always say if you're a fan of "The Hills" then this particular series will be perfect for you. This is the last book in Lauren Conrad's "L.A. Candy series" and I have to say that I was a little surprised at how abruptly it ended. When I picked it up I didn't realize it was the last book in the series, so the ending leaves a LOT to be desired because you wonder what the story is after it ends. Other than that, overall it was a pretty good read. "
— Katarina, 2/6/2014" well It was nice reading these series but I thought it would be better, the book i liked more was Sweet little lies, the other two are not very good but i guess i was able to bear it, let's be honest Lauren it's not a perfect writer but i guess that if she really was the one who wrote the books, she has a great imagination.I think im gonna read her "fame game" series. "
— Ivan, 2/1/2014" Boring, Ending was the best. "
— Tianna, 1/30/2014" This has been a good series if you're looking for something light and fluffy. If you got a kick out of watching The Hills, you'll probably get a kick out of reading this series. "
— Lisette, 1/23/2014" LOVE THIS SERIES! I'm probably bias because it reminds me of home, but it is such a cute series. Lauren conrad is Awesome! "
— Heather, 1/16/2014" The ending was too pat. And I felt bad for Jane - she was a good person who kept getting screwed over. Oh, well. "
— Mrs., 12/21/2013" Good for a quick , stupid, fun read. "
— Carajellison, 12/18/2013" And I finished this book too fast. Same as the others. I found this one less captivating than the rest, some of the story lines were a bit too predictable and the others had me kind of bored. Still a decent read though. "
— Ari, 11/23/2013" Exactly what I thought it would be...but there...I've completed the "trilogy" "
— Michelle, 11/18/2013" meh..prefer the first and second book "
— Keisya, 11/17/2013" I liked the first one the best of the three "
— Dana, 9/21/2013" This book was amazing! Not just this book, but the WHOLE series! "
— Samantha, 5/23/2013" being famous isn't always amazing. you got no private life and eventually with everything you do your life can fall apart. Jane realises everything and knows what she has to do to get her life back to the way it was.. quit being a famous reality tv star "
— Stephanie, 3/3/2013" Easy, but good. The ending was kind of quick, thought "
— Clara, 2/15/2013" not quite what i hope it would turn out like but still i liked it. "
— Georgia, 2/5/2013" A good ending to a book series "
— Kristine, 12/26/2012" I'm happy there wasn't a happily ever after "I got the guy" kind of ending. Independence is good when you are 20 years old. I liked this series because it gave me a better understanding of just how fake 'reality TV' is. "
— Anjiebringhurst, 12/22/2012" Loved this Series. Nice quick beach read "
— Aida, 9/6/2012" A nice ending to this little series. Pure YA trash, but it was fun to read! "
— Lindsaylu, 1/3/2012" Good but predictable. Looking forward to reading Madison's series. "
— Lisa, 6/17/2011" She's a good author, I was pleasantly surprised by all three of the books in this series. I hope that she will do more of them. "
— Amber, 5/25/2011" Sugar and Spice is the third book of the L.A Candy series by Lauren Conrad. While the second book holds all of the drama, this book does not disappoint with a sweet finish. With twists and turns, you never know who's team you're on. "
— Brynne, 5/20/2011" It was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed with the ending... "
— Katie, 5/15/2011" Same as the other two, you can place the faces into characters from The Hills and it's not even attempting to be original. Nonetheless, it's a nice light read and easy going. "
— Laura, 5/11/2011" Ashamed that I read this. Utter crap. "
— Eabha, 5/9/2011" Geeeeeez...I'm proud of myself for forcing my way through this! "
— Ariel, 5/8/2011" Third in a series about two girls on a reality tv show. Total fluff, but I like it! "
