"I must say I really loved and enjoyed reading this book. I loved that we got to see a whole lot more of Janco and Valek. I also loved how Opal evolved as a character. I must say that I didn't totally agree with a certain choice made in the end but with further contemplation I have found that the ending grew on me. Although this might be an odd question I cant help but wonder if this is the last installment in the glass series? The possibility for Opal to join Valek on further adventures was left open and I wonder if this will be the last of Opal's adventures or if there will be more to come. Overall as I said I love all the books in the Glass and Study series and this book was just as awesome as the others! :-)"

" This whole series Opal has been the 'used' character and it was nice to see her regain control of her life and emotions. She still gets in illogical situations (the book is about magic after all) but at this point you just really want this girl to get a bit of a break. In the end her love interest is a bit controversial, but that just reminded me that fictional characters do not react the way I would expect them to. "

" a well put together conclusion to opal's journey, this third book finally reveals opal's true heart and desires for her life, both romantically and in the deeper sense. i think it is well woven and was entertaining. "

" Not many writers have the ability to captivate you from the writer paragraph or sentence in a novel, but Maria V. Snyder can. I went from reading the Study series one after the other, to reading Touch of Power and all the Glass books. I couldn't go through an entire day without having at least a few hours of being in the worlds that Snyder has created. These books will stay with me forever! "

" Amazing. A lot of crazy stuff went down in this book, but what a great end to Opal's story. I sincerely hope that this is not the last we will see from Sitia. These books are incredible, and I don't know what I would do without more installments. "

" I was never a huge fan of this series in contrast to the 'study' series. I found the main character too angst-y for my taste. But I loved the other characters enough to keep going. Very unfulfilling ending. She picked the wrong guy. "

" The series overall wasn't as exciting as the "study series" but it wasn't terrible. It's an easy read and a story that I found difficult to put down. It's not one that I would necessarily recommend to others though even though I had fun reading it when I did. "
