Publisher Description

The apprenticeship is over—now the real test has begun.

When word that Yelena is a Soulfinder—able to capture and release souls—spreads like wildfire, she faces mistrust and fear in Sitia. What’s more, she keeps discovering new, unusual sides of her abilities. As the Council debates Yelena’s fate, she receives a disturbing message: a plot is rising against her homeland, led by a murderous sorcerer she has defeated before…

The road to Ixia is fraught with peril and sets Yelena on a path that will test the limits of her skills. But the hope of reuniting with her beloved spurs her onward. Along the way, she’ll encounter allies, enemies, lovers and would-be assassins, each of questionable loyalty, and be forced to confront an impossible choice as whispers of war emerge.

Yelena will have but one chance to prove herself—and save the lands she holds dear.

"This series is amazing! I wish there were more books with Yelena as the main character. I loved this last book, I thought it was great. A couple of problems throughout the three books, but otherwise this was a wonderful series overall. The end is left open for more if the author decides to ever go back to this series, but it's a great close to the trilogy as well. These books are definitely well worth reading."

" I am LOVING this series. I can't wait for more! I guess I'll have to read Storm Glass to tide me over... "

" I really enjoyed the first two books in the series but was somewhat disappointed with the third and last. I think perhaps because the entire story and novel was all about defeating the evil doers. The first two dealt with Yelena learning about her powers. She does a little in this one but still, I just didn't think it was as great as the first two. But it's still a good read. "

" This was a difficult book to read. Sadly i gave up half way through, maybe sometime in the future I will pick it up again. One of the reasons i may have disliked this book could be because I havent read any of the others. Not my favourite book. "

" My least favorite of the Study series. I felt like she rushed through the story to finish it before a publishing deadline. The prime relationship seemed secondary and rushed through big problems simply because they needed a big problem. "
