    " Outstanding - a must read "

" Good, straight talk stuff. Some of the same stories I've heard previously were used, but they were there to illustrate a point. Good companion to the lifechurch.tv four part sermon, but deviated enough to where I didn't feel like I was just rereading what I'd watched. "

" Very powerful book, easy to read. Challenging to who I am and who I want to be as a Christian. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Cynthia Cole Davis | 1/6/2014

" Great book! Will step on your toes, but thats kind of the purpose. To wake you up to the power God when you are truly connected to Him! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Eden | 1/4/2014

" Very good book. Craig Groeschel brings to light many toxins that we can have a tendency to ignore and does so in such a way that is not legalistic. That makes me appreciate the book a lot. One thing I've always disliked about Christian non-fiction is that it can sound very legalistic and can turn you off to the subject. This book didn't do that. IT was a very easy and enjoyable read and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try and detox their life. ~E "

" Definitely gives you a lot of relatable topics to think about. Very uplifting and leaves you feeling more self aware. I'm gonna mail it to a friend who I think needs the guidance "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Terri Haynes | 12/1/2013

" This book really challenged me to look at the toxic things in my life, which turned out to be more than I realized. I found ways to detoxify my life in every chapter of the book. This book was great for challenging me to live a more pure life. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Lindon Gareis | 11/28/2013

" The author wrote the book in a way that everyone can gain insight into the things in their life that are holding them back from the true calling God has for them. Well Done! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Carol | 11/27/2013

" This book offers good food for thought. Exposure to poison and toxins will sooner or later make us sick, and toxins to the soul are no different. But sometimes they are not as obvious. An effective guide for trying to identify and eradicate the unhealthy choices we often make. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Linda | 11/12/2013

" A convicting book that made me think about how much of the world rubs off on me without my realizing it. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Alex Mac | 10/20/2013

" Fantastic! If you take it to heart and learn from it. Do not just read and then think: "oh how nice, I really should do that." Stop it. Dig in and let it soak in. Take it for what it is; a sincere and well written tool. Like the old cliche; "you get what you put into it." "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Lana | 6/21/2013

" Another excellent book by Pastor Craig. This book looked at the toxins contaminating our souls...emotions, influences, and behaviors. This was a challenging book for me, in the regards of ways I'm being contaminated. A must read for all! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Milton Moon Louie | 4/24/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Kammie | 4/14/2013

" Very thought provoking! Loved how it aligned so much with what I already believe as a Christian and also pushed me to change a few more things about my life. We live in such a toxic world, and he really sheds some light on toxins I had never paid close attention to. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Robin | 3/27/2013

" I really like Craig Groeshel's writing style... Very conversational. What was very refreshing was his take on how non-religious Jesus was and means for the church to be. "Christianity is the only major world religion that was never meant to be a religion." "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Alexi Cornelius | 3/24/2013

" It was somewhat annoying that the participant's guide did not go in the same order as the book. A lot of word-for-word repetition between the book, guide, and video. The message was good, but the supplements did not expand on the ideas of the text very much. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Toni | 3/12/2013

" One of Craig Goeschel's best. Highly recommended. "
