"Very good series. I enjoyed all three books a lot. Robin Hobb is a master of forming characters then letting them grow into their rolls. I have to say though that this trilogy was a little more paint by numbers than her first one. The ending was a bit predictable. But I enjoyed it none the less."
— Joe (4 out of 5 stars)
Hobb combines a unique fantasy vision with themes of devotion and selflessness to produce a powerful conclusion to an innovative saga. Highly recommended.
— Library Journal" Again, exhausting. Still good, though. "
— Rachel, 2/9/2014" the last of the set improved the lot "
— Jo, 2/4/2014" I liked how all of the elements throughout the books were combined and evolved into this conclusion. I liked how imaginative the world Robin Hobb created is. "
— Megdalynn, 1/31/2014" A strong finish to the trilogy. "
— Miriam, 1/20/2014" What an ending! I loved it! "
— Valerie, 1/8/2014" Robin Hobb shows the full force of her writing artistry, weaving together the final of this trilogy, the Rainwilds, the serpents and the Liveship traders are all brought together under her majestic hand! Wonderful! "
— Jerome, 12/11/2013" Well, this trilogy far exceeded my expectations. I don't know why I am surprised since it came from Robin Hobb. "
— Hilary, 12/3/2013" Absolutely loved the last book of this trilogy, especially how some parts were tied to the Farseer trilogy by the same author. "
— Lisa-maree, 11/28/2013" Great imagination, I really enjoyed these books and became heavily involved with the characters, their loves, lives and losses. "
— Max, 10/27/2013" Probably my favorite fantasy series to date, for its complexity, its world building, its cast of characters, and its stunning prose. Best of all, these three books are snuggled in between eight other novels that are nearly as fantastic. "
— Aaron, 6/14/2013" The story telling is a bit scruffier than in #1 and #2, but it delivers anyway. Thoroughly enoyable. Kept me awake very late. "
— Lucy, 12/2/2012" the second book I was able to guess the sequence of events, but now I realize that was setting up this exciting conclusion to the series. The turn of events kept me interested to the very end. Looking forward to reading more Hobb. "
— Brinn, 10/17/2012" What a thrilling conclusion! Loved how all the characters panned out. I'm looking forward to launching into the new Rain Wild Chronicles soon. "
— Mazil, 8/4/2012" I'd totally bang Kennit. That is all. "
— Lindsey, 7/14/2012" This is my favorite of the three, by far. I love how she ties it up. "
— Jenna, 2/23/2012" Wish I could give this series 6 stars, my all time favourite series "
— Rolph, 2/10/2012" See write-up on book one. "
— Suna, 12/6/2011" Very intense and satisfying third book of this trilogy. Great characters as usual from Robin Hobb. "
— Tom, 4/30/2011" As a trilogy these books are a great read. Not as good as the original trilogy but still well developed. To be fair, I found it harder to identify with characters in this series but I appreciated the way it broadened the world created in the first series. "
— Dan, 3/26/2011" I think the series is greater than the sum of the books. I dont find any one of the books great, or a page turner, but I also cant wait to read the next one.

I think it boils down to an awesome concept, which is only mediocre in delivery. "
— Phil, 3/6/2011" An excellent end to a very enjoyable series! "
— Lillie, 2/20/2011" The conclusion of The Liveship Traders trilogy sets itself up for a possible sequel later on... "
— Xavier, 11/9/2010" LOVED this book and this series! "
