"Another good read. With this book comes the introduction of Sarge, a cute little dog, who has been adopted by Angelica. I do feel sorry for Trisha as she always seems to take hit on everything. I would like to see her character take on more of a strong personality and "put" some of these people whom I perceive to be mean to her in their places. On to the next book in the series."

" easy, quick read. great for the pocket, for the doctor's office, for the line at the store, for bedtime.... "
— Nan, 2/17/2014" I needed something quick and brainless to read, so I chose this! It fit the bill. As far as mysteries go, this "mystery" was the worst of the bunch. After a dramatic catastrophe right off the streets of Wisteria Lane, the characters stumble about their lives and stumble into the plotter's home in the second-to-last chapter, no deductive reasoning required! However, good character development for the characters I did like, and I'm intrigued to figure out where the whole RLA thing is going. "
— Chance, 2/12/2014" great characters, good plot, nice twist. "
— Cynthia, 1/29/2014" I really enjoyed the twists and turns of the this newest Booktown mystery. Following Tricia Miles in her daily dealings makes me wish such a town existed. . . A great cozy summer read! "
— Darlene, 1/19/2014" I really enjoy the Booktown Mysteries. Perhaps it's because I would love to own a bookshop of my own on day. But Tricia is much less annoying that she started early on in the series. I think the mystery with this one was not quite as obvious as previous books in the series (this is book #5). I will definitely be reading the next book! "
— Mirah, 1/10/2014" i have read the whole series and love the characters. tricia miles is always helping people not matter what happens. she always seems to be near a death and the police in such a small town always need help, right? "
— Mandyfujita, 1/10/2014" I love the idea of "Booktown," and a whole bookstore devoted to mysteries! I'm still trying to warm up to the series, though. Tricia, the main character, seems especially nosy, and not in an intelligent, savvy way. "
— Lesley, 1/4/2014" I adore these quick, cozy reads. They take place in New England, in a town filled with books, and feature murders behind the stacks! LOVE! "
— Nikki, 12/15/2013" Woha. At first the characters annoyed me. Well Ginny which I used to love, no is such an annoying person. With her stupid relationship. The book is much better than the rest of the series! It's getting better. "
— Deer, 10/11/2013" believable and enjoyable characters in a story with some surprises. Just right for a rainy weekend. "
— Jane, 10/10/2013" I didn't care for this one as much as the others in the series. It seemed very transitional. It will be interesting to see if book 6 is a smooth follow on with this bridging the characters. "
— Beth, 8/5/2013" I have enjoyed this series, but felt this one lacked a credible mystery. "
— Jill, 4/29/2013" Another good one from this series. Several changes in the lives of many of our "regular" characters, even the unexpected death of one. I am definitely curious about what will happen to the characters going forward and look forward to the release of the next book in this series. "
— Christine, 4/8/2013" I enjoyed this book for the most part. It has elements I like: bookstore, cat, mystery and even food. I discovered this is the 5th in the series and I think the author included themes I would have understood better had I read the 1st 4 books "
— Susan, 4/2/2013" I love this series. Wish there really was a booktown because I'd love to visit. I love the idea of one street having all these neat shops. I sure hope we don't have to wait too long before the next book comes out.... "
— Suzie, 3/7/2013" Another excellent addition to a superb series. "
— Marjorie, 2/15/2012" Another entertaining addition to the series. My only complaint to these books is the person who "dun it" doesn't really make sense. But the characters are interesting and who could dislike a book with a cat named "Miss Marple?" "
— Julie, 1/11/2012" Tricia is attending the Founder's Day celebrations in Stoneham when her friend Deborah is killed during the opening speech. Did the plane crash into her by accident or was her husband trying to kill her? Solid cozy mystery. "
— Maryellen, 6/21/2011" Excellent fourth installment in a solid series. Love Booktown!! "
— Leann, 6/18/2011" Good pace and lots of details to not only move the story along but also plant seeds for future books. I can't wait to see who is behind Nigela Racita.....I have some ideas but look forward to the next book. "
— Candace, 6/4/2011" I really enjoyed this book. The characters are growing and changing, especially Ginny and Ange. Although I had pegged the murderer early on, I was surprised at how the murderer was tied to the victims. "
