Publisher Description

Mystery bookstore owner Tricia Miles has been spending more time solving whodunits than reading them. Now a nearby gas explosion has injured Tricia's sister's boyfriend, Bob Kelly, the head of the Chamber of Commerce, and killed the owner of the town's history bookstore. Tricia's never been a fan of Bob, but when she reads that he's being tight-lipped about the "accident", it's time to take action.

" I really like the cover design of this book. It looks so realistic and I must admit is what drew me to read the book in addition to the fact that I have read all the previous books in the series and enjoy the story lines. I like how she is allowing the other characters to develop into their own personalities and is spotlighting them more in her books. I would love to see Ginny become a shop owner. "

" In general, I've enjoyed this cozy mystery series, but I just had trouble getting into this latest book; I'd still read the next one, though. "

" I really enjoy the characters in this series and wish I could visit their lovely little Booktown. Of course, I wouldn't want to become the next victim. Loved the addition of the twin sisters who hinted to how trouble seems to follow Tricia. "

" I liked this one better than the previous books in the series. Maybe the characters are growing on me. I especially wasn't fond of Angelica before, but she's slowly becoming more likeable. "

" I liked the first three in the series, I did not like this book at all. The main characters are horribly selfish and egocentric. The side characters aren't much better. "

" Not bad, the storyline drags on a bit much and the on-off romance between the 3 characters can be distorted-who do you root for?? "

" I really like the main character in this series, and the kitty who wanders in and out of her life, her store and the story. But I find it annoying that the mean in these books are almost all jerks. I'll keep reading the series, but I'd like to see one consistently decent male character. "
