Louise Allen has been immersing herself in history for as long as she can remember. She finds landscapes and places evoke powerful images of the past— Venice, Burgundy, and the Greek islands are favorite destinations. Louise lives on the Norfolk coast. She spends her spare time gardening, researching family history, or travelling in search of inspiration.

About the Narrator

Jilly Bond has worked extensively in theater and radio for many years. Her stage credits include Miranda in The Tempest, Fiona in When I Was a Girl I Used to Scream and Shout, and Anita in A Small Family Business.
