" I love how interesting his life is! If only I had half his imagination. The chapters that stick out the most: the inn with dolls, his messy apartment, and his cooking show. Fun & easy to read. "

" Entertaining, quick read. Very David Sedaris. I read Running With Scissors many years ago, and remember liking it, but not loving it. Burroughs' stories are good - some quite funny, others ok. Definitely a decent read. "

" This was like a continuation of Magical Thinking - random little stories in no order particular order, funny and random. I think I'll take a break from Aususten Burrough's books for a while, and read something else. "

" this book kept me entertained on my long-ass germany-to-usa flight. there are a few really funny moments, but this is definitely not his best work. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sunny | 5/5/2011

" This is more of a group of short stories about different times in his life. Because of that I was able to skip the chapters that didn't catch my attention soon enough. It made for a light fun read that makes you happy to be who you are and glad to have grown up with the family you did. "

" I enjoyed this much more than Running With Scissors, where Burroughs' narrative felt tedious at times. Chopping down to short stories behooves his style and humor. "
