About Neil Simon

Neil Simon, Americas most prolific and beloved playwright, is the author of more than thirty plays and screenplays. As a child he found refuge and inspiration watching early comedians like Charlie Chaplin, eventually deciding to incorporate comedy into his many works. He was awarded a Pulitzer Prize and three Tony Awards and received more Oscar and Tony Award nominations than any other writer. Despite this, many still feel he is underrated. He now splits his time between New York and Los Angeles.

About the Narrators

Gabrielle de Cuir, award-winning narrator, has narrated over three hundred titles and specializes in fantasy, humor, and titles requiring extensive foreign language and accent skills. She was a cowinner of the Audie Award for best narration in 2011 and a three-time finalist for the Audie and has garnered six AudioFile Earphones Awards. Her “velvet touch” as an actor’s director has earned her a special place in the audiobook world as the foremost producer for bestselling authors and celebrities.

He received a Tony Award nomination, a Drama Desk Award, and an Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance in Art on Broadway. He also performed on Broadway in Molly Sweeney and in Speed the Plow for the National Theatre in London.

Edward “Ed” Asner is an American actor best known for his Emmy-winning role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, later continued in a spin-off series, Lou Grant. He has made dozens of appearances—including voice-over work—on television shows and has recorded a number of audiobooks.

JoBeth Williams is a film, stage, and television actress and president of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. Among her many film and television credits are Dexter, Hart of Dixie, 24, The Big Chill, and Poltergeist.
