"Another awesome adventure book from Cussler. I really liked the whole idea of the Oregon and I loved it's crew, even if it is a bit unlikely they manage to solve every problem they encounter. I know this is a fictional book but I didn't know the Japanese had Death Camps in WWII(I've googled it so now I know they did). It's not something thats been mentioned to me before. I also just googled Responsivists, just to check! But they are fictional. But I don't doubt that there is someone out there who shares their crazy veiws. I didn't really get the whole alien thing but that seemed unimportant to the storyline anyways. Would like to read more books from the Oregon files :)"

" I have actually read all of his oregon series books. They are wonderful if you like spy/CIA type books. There is some language. But over all they are a really good spy book. "
— Emily, 2/17/2014" I'm a Cussler fan through & through. I like the adventure & technical jargon in his stories. This one was especially entertaining. The plot revolves a cult that wants to sterilize a third of planet because of their belief in world over-population. Seriously! The way they plan on doing it is pure Cussler. And you need to read it to find out! "
— Jenny, 2/1/2014" Being a Clive Clussler fan, I always enjoy these books! Great read! "
— Linda, 1/24/2014" Fast, fun adventure with a fairly original villian and scheme. Great popcorn read, as these always are. "
— Jason, 1/22/2014" I think it's all the gadgets! "
— Kathy, 1/13/2014" Great book.. Kept me going for three days, couldn't put it down "
— Laura, 1/12/2014" Just not my kind of book. Parts were interesting, but it was mostly all action and very little character development. "
— Jill, 1/7/2014" Terrific "beach" or "airplane" read. Long - over 500 pgs - but easy reading. You can gloss over the technical details & not lose any of the story. "
— Jan, 1/6/2014" This is one of the most exciting Clive Cussler books I have read...Juan and the Corporation are one band of exciting and death-defying characters. "
— Debbie, 11/20/2013" It took me awhile to get into it but once I did, it was okay. It was just not my genre that I like to read. It was exciting but I don't know if I will read anymore Clive cussler "
— Karijean31, 11/3/2013" Action packed page turner. "
— Vince, 10/18/2013" I love the Oregon Files series... Exciting action, and lots of fun to read! "
— Jeff, 9/30/2013" I read this one while on a cruise. It made things interesting! It was a nice easy fun read. There's constant suspense and adventure. The characters are entertaining and easy to get to know. It's a perfect beach or cruise read. "
— Sherry, 9/14/2013" Interesting subject. I like Cussler books. "
— Judy, 8/11/2013" I love clive cussler I am burning thru this book great story as usual Its from the oregon files, with the lead of Juan cabrillo as the captain, I cant wait for a new clive book to come out. "
— Chris, 7/28/2013" Action-packed page-turner, as always. "
— Glenn, 7/1/2013" Didn't want to finish but felt I had to because I was too far in. "
— Fryingpan, 5/21/2013" Very Good so far. i like the Oregon Files books Du Bruls Co writing smooths out Cussler, but the storytelling is the same...Exciting! "
— Chris, 11/5/2012" What can I say? It's vintage Cussler, but I like the Oregon Files. "
— Devon, 10/13/2012" I have tired of Cussler's superheros in everyman clothing. Too much of his work borders on the fantasy side of reality. And they always arrive just in the nick of time to save the world. He also loads them down with not too subtle jabs at things like overpopulation. "
— Tom, 9/8/2012" I gave up on this book because it has followed a similar plot to the other books that he has written I so wanted much more from a book from this author "
— Bridgette, 6/3/2012" I enjoyed easy to read and of course the heroes save the world. However I did have a conflict, the bad guy's goal and rationale ready got me thinking.................... "
— Ken, 1/31/2012" Great story...Cussler did it again. Truly enjoy the Oregon Files books... "
— Allen, 12/19/2011" Terrible. Absurd action novel full of Manly Men doing Manly Deeds. Laughable prose, one step up from a comic book. Super-Heroes saving the world from Evil Villains and Inept Congress. Fox News Republicans should love it!! "
— Rick, 12/14/2011" Hubby and I really enjoy the Juan and Oregon adventures thru audio on our road trips. Fun, adventure, adventure, clean, fun, more adventure. The action doesn't stop... "
— Billie, 11/14/2011" I can't always follow Cussler but I did like this book. Some pretty exciting rescues! "
— Gail, 9/8/2011" I always seem to like Clive Cussler books, and this one didn't disappoint. Jaun Cabrillo is one great action hero (although he seems to make it out of a lot of dubious scrapes a little too easily sometimes). "
— Dawn, 7/12/2011" Pretty standard Cussler, pretty much a Micheal Bay movie in book form. Entertaining though, and nice and light. "
— Matt, 6/29/2011"
As most of Clive Cusslers books, this is an adventure, an interesting story of the past to begin with, and then ....into the future. Just a book you start and finish in (almost) one sitting.
Entertaining.. "
— Corry, 6/20/2011" One of Cussler's better books in along time. Very entertaining and an easy read. "
— Mikem, 6/12/2011" Love Juan Cabrillo & the Corporation books (The Oregon Files). This is one the best in the series. Non-stop action. Very enjoyable. "
— Jo, 6/4/2011" We are liking this book better than some of Clive Cussler's books. He goes into a lot of detail so listening to his books is sometimes tedious, but this one seemed more interesting. "
— Joanne, 5/23/2011" One of Clive's better yarns, with a great surprise at the end. "
— Rob, 5/21/2011" This is a Tom Clancy, Brad Thor type read, yet completely clean. Not one swear word or adult situation. Although most is cloak and dagger, there is violence, more than my kids would be ready for so age appropriateness be at least older than 12.
"
— Christin, 5/16/2011" Just another Clive Cussler Thriller where the good guys sweep in and win the battle against unbelievable odds! Just the way I like my stories!
"
— Eric, 5/16/2011" May 28/11: Chapter 6
June 06/11: Chapter 9
June 07/11: Chapter 11
June 08/11: Chapter 14
June 17/11: Chapter 17
June 18/11: Chapter 25
June 19/11: Finished "
— Lemonitsa, 5/15/2011" One of the best in the Oregon Files series. Maybe THE best. "
— Frank, 5/15/2011" This was an OK light entertainment read. Plenty of ridiculous stuff in it, but enough of a story to keep it decently good. Not much else to say about it... "
— Phil, 5/10/2011" Clive Cussler Novels = My Guilty Pleasure. :) "
