" Great suspense murder mystery- page turner to the end. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Deb Edomm | 2/9/2014

" Great read. It was interesting to read about the technology and note how it has changed so much. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Sandi | 2/6/2014

" This was very scary and more graphically gruesome than I like. And, it was very long. The conversations via EROS website were difficult to follow. The ending 30 pages or so were irrational. Sorry I didn't miss this one. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Julie | 2/5/2014

" Couldn't put it down - I lost quite a few hours of sleep as a result. Although the technology driving the plot is dated, the story still works. Classic serial killer on the loose story. Quite a good read. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 An | 1/27/2014

" Spannende thriller 'op zijn Amerikaans' geschreven. "

" 2.5 Stars...It wasn't bad really but not up to par with some of Iles other work. Nowhere in the same league as Blood Memory..now that is an awesome Iles book. "

" TWISTED. Greg Iles is truly one of the most unappreciated treasures in the world of fiction. His writing is superb. Mortal fear exposes an underworld of addiction, sex, and lies that will keep you on the edge of your seat up until the last page. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Dona | 11/13/2013

" Funny how things have changed since this book was written in 1997! The technology referenced is hysterical .... "Word Perfect!" Anyone remember that?? Still a good story and nice read. Greg Iles seldom disappoints. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Rebecca | 11/3/2013

" Maybe 1.5 stars. I finished it but wasn't impressed. I didn't really like many of the characters and the book seemed to drag after a while. "
