"This was a definite page-turner! Iles really knows how to weave a story without making it look like he is drawing out the book. The ending was a bit disappointing and didn't ring true for me, but the book kept me going right up until the end. "

" This was very scary and more graphically gruesome than I like. And, it was very long. The conversations via EROS website were difficult to follow. The ending 30 pages or so were irrational. Sorry I didn't miss this one. "

" TWISTED. Greg Iles is truly one of the most unappreciated treasures in the world of fiction. His writing is superb. Mortal fear exposes an underworld of addiction, sex, and lies that will keep you on the edge of your seat up until the last page. "
