It was funny but more of a smirk or chuckle funny than the guffaws janet evanovich provides. In fact, i was thinking this was more of an Evanovich knock off than a creative new approach to a series. She even is using the 'number' angle in the titles that JE uses. Landis has a good premise but she doesn't deliver like JE does. Still...I was interested enough that I bought book two...Two to Mango. I mean really...it's summer..... "
