-

Amber | 10/5/2013
" This book got four stars for surprising me. I was expecting a different, and preachy, book. The author made me feel for the main character and I will definitely be reading more books by her in the future. "

" I didn't think I would like this book, being that is was set in the 1700's. I usually don't read stuff like this but wanted to challenge myself. I ended up loving it! "
-

" I enjoyed this book as much as the first, perhaps more! I loved the setting. I can't wait for the next book! "

-

Angelina | 11/15/2012
" It was an enjoyable read. It was not too preachy and approaches difficult subjects. It is Christian fiction so be warned. "
-

Vicki Mohr | 4/8/2012
" It was a good story. Makes you wonder if things like that really did happen. "
-

Mum | 4/1/2012
" It was a fast read, and an entertaining story. A little unbelievable, on a regular basis. I was in the mood for the improbable, so it didn't bother me, but it did keep the rating to 3 rather 4 stars. "

" How many times do we put on our judgmental attitudes and attribute that to being righteous? This premise has been done before, but it mostly held my interest, and there was even a twist thrown in.

" Another free kindle download. Your average Christian romance...
"

" This was a free Kindle book from Amazon. I had just read another book by this author, so was interested. Laura Foster has given up her life as a prostitute and is posing as a wealthy widow running a boarding house. She meets and falls for the local preacher. Good western read.
"

" Some of the components of this story were unique, but others were cliche. I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could.
"
-

" Inspirational historical romance. Very well written. Had just a tad too much ‘sugar’, though. Strong heroine.
"

Lisa | 2/23/2011
" This book was well-written, but as in many romances was full of completely unbelievable characterization. I still enjoyed it, but I wouldn't seek out the subsequent novels unless Amazon also makes those freebies.
