Publisher Description

Betrayed...a month before the wedding!

Kate Blake has just discovered her fiance's double life. She has always lived in the shadow of her powerful politician father. Now she's determined to leave it all behind and reclaim her future...on her own terms.

Her journey of self-discovery leads her to Australia and into the arms, and bed, of rugged Aussie and former brother-in-law, Sean Harris. Surrounded by the untamed beauty of the outback, Sean unleashes Kate's wildest desires. He sheds light on the shadows of her family's darkest secrets. As he peels back the layers of the betrayal, blind ambition, and greed that have clouded her life, Sean finds the greatest gift of all: just Kate.

" I love Linda Lael Miller's work but this was written in 1989 so it isn't as good as her newer work. I felt like the story had a lot of potential but Kate and Sean's relationship moved to fast and the story didn't quite flow right. "
