Publisher Description
God's desire is to commune with man. God being spirit, the man who worships Him must worship in spirit and truth. It is therefore essential for man to be spiritual. This is what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. Salvation is the way to spirituality.
The Spiritual Man by Watchman Nee serves as a guide, not as a manual, to walk in spiritual life as well as to fight the spiritual war. It was written under tremendous spiritual conflict. Only through the grace of God and the victory of Christ was Watchman Nee able to finish the writing. Having become a Christian classic, it may be considered as Watchman Nee's legacy to the Church.

About Watchman Nee
Watchman Nee (1903–1972) is
remembered for his leadership of an indigenous church movement in China, as
well as for his books, which continue to enrich Christians throughout the
world. Beginning in the 1930s, he helped establish local churches in China that
were independent of foreign missionary organizations and were used to bring
many into the Kingdom of God. From these roots sprang many of the house
churches that continued to meet after Western missionaries were forced to leave
the country during the Cultural Revolution. Arrested in 1952 and found guilty
of a large number of false charges, Nee was imprisoned until his death.
