Publisher Description

Noah Baker never wanted to betray the Others. But if his military commanders want him to covertly investigate a Lupine scientist—whose extraordinary research on sensory perception in werewolves could be used to develop werewolf-sharp senses in human soldiers—Noah must oblige. Even if it means deceiving the woman he desires the most.

Samantha Carstairs is the personal assistant to the Alpha of the Silverback Clan, and as best friend to the Lupine community's most brilliant scientist, she is privy to its most dangerous secret. Noah knows that Sam will never leak the scientific research...so he must find another way to get it, while keeping Sam close. But someone else is after Sam's secret. Who is the other spy infiltrating the Others? If their genetic secrets get into the wrong hands, all hell could break loose. Now Noah's true loyalty is put to the test as he fights to protect the Others—and his beloved Sam—and find the imposter...before it's too late.

"I am starting to get into the paranormal "shifters" books and this one has lots . . . there's a werejaguar, werewolves, demons, a witch and more! Add a couple of humans to the mix along with members of the military and stolen medical research and you have the key ingredients for a great thriller!"

" Sort of boring, I think it would be better if I'd read the previous books. But I couldn't find them. That's libraries for you. "

" I dont know if its me but as the books go on I seem to start noticing a pattern and the book starts losing its sparkle. This one is focused on a couple, one human and one werewolf. A hidden agenda and when the secrets get revealed heartache. "

" I am giving Howl at the Moon a 3.5. This is another tale of the "others" in which Samantha, the personal assistant to Graham Winters, Alpha finds love in the most unusual place with a human Noah Baker. There is a problem though, Noah is in the armed forces and has been sent by the government to spy on the shapeshifting pack who he is also friends with. Oh what a tangled web we weave. Well, you get the picture. I really enjoyed the book, however, the dialogue for Noah often felt like it would not be coming from a male. But don't let that discourage you. "

" Couldn't finish this one - I gave the book 110 pages and gave up. Sorry, Ms. Warren, I like your writing, but the feel was so 'blah' that I just couldn't continue. "

" 2 1/2, maybe 3 stars. For some reason, I had a hard time getting into this book. Not sure if it was the human hero/shifter heroine or the fact the hero was spying on his friends and lover combo or what exactly didn't thrill me. Maybe all those things. Plus, I did get very tired of the heroine's best friend who had several TSTL moments. The ending offered some excitement and suspense. "

" I thought this was the weakest book so far of the series. We met Noah and Sam in the previous books and I had great expectations about their story. However, I thought there was just too much repetitive, introspective dialogues by both of them even though the storyline was pretty interesting. "

" I really enjoy this series about the 'others'. Its fascinating how she has created a world in which we live alongside other beings and its seems so natural and seamless. This one was very interesting as it really would happen if these creatures existed and therefore made it a very credible read. "
