In this spellbinding new novel from New York Times bestselling author Jude Deveraux, a young woman must hunt for a magical stone to protect the man she loves.

Gemma Ranford wants the job cataloging the documents of one of Edilean’s oldest families, the Fraziers, so much that she is ready to do battle to get it. Fascinated with history, and desperately trying to finish her dissertation, she’s hoping against all hope that the papers will yield new information to invigorate her research.

What she didn’t expect to find is references to the Heartwishes Stone, believed by most to be pure legend, and said to grant wishes to anyone named Frazier. As Gemma learns more about the family—and even begins falling in love with the eldest son, Colin—it becomes increasingly clear that their wishes are actually coming true.

Together, Gemma and Colin must work together to find the stone that’s been missing for more than 100 years, and with an international thief also on the hunt, the clock is ticking. Download and start listening now!

" A cute read but I was kind of expecting more out of the story. They mention a magical stone that grants wishes but we barely hear anything about it. We really find out what happened to it in the very last chapter. I was a tad disappointed about that. But it was nice to revisit out characters from past books and see how they're doing. I really loved the interaction between Mike and Gemma. That made me laugh. So overall a nice read. "

" Fast fun summer read. Gemma is working on her dissertation when she snags a job of cataloging the documents of the Frazeier family. During her research she finds repeated references to the Heartwishes Stone, a magical talisman saaid to grant wishes to anyone named Frazier. Gemma falls in love with the Fraziers eldest son Colin and they work together to stop an internationsl thief also hunting for the stone. "

" Another chapter in the Edilean tale. Loved it. It moved really quickly, with just enough magic to keep it from being simply a romance. And there is room for more...several more brothers to marry off. I look forward to it. "

" I didn't think this was as good as Scent of Jasmine, but since I read it right after that one, I at least had a sense of who some of the characters were. This series is getting really confusing with it's "Seven" main families. That's not to say that I won't read the next one, though! "
