Publisher Description

At first glance, the crimes appear random. Arson. Theft. Fraud. Murder. But these are more than random crimes. They're moves in an increasingly deadly game. And the one element they have in common: a woman who is gorgeous, clever…and lethal.

Elizabeth Avery has a winsome smile and flawless figure, but underneath is a heart of ice. She's a master manipulator, convincing strangers to do the unthinkable. And she orchestrates it all without getting too close. Until now.

When Elizabeth ruthlessly disposes of an inquisitive young reporter, her crime catches the attention of Federal Prosecutor Allison Pierce, FBI Special Agent Nicole Hedges, and crime reporter Cassidy Shaw. They know they're dealing with a cold-blooded murderer who could strike at any time. What they don't know is that they're already on a first-name basis with the killer.

And one of them may be next on her list.

"I really enjoyed this book as it seemed to have a little bit of everything. The fact that there was a group of friends that each a had a profession that were connected to each other and it gave individual perspectives and clues regarding the crime to be solved."

" I think it's a little hard to believe that there are people out there like "Sissy" but I still like the suspense and the Triple Threat Club. "

" This is the third Triple Threat novel featuring federal prosecutor Allison Pierce, FBI special agent Nicole Hedges, and Portland, Ore., TV crime reporter Cassidy Shaw. However it could be read as a stand alone book. It doesn't play much into the previous books. I would recommend it being read as part of the series so you can get know the characters and what they are going through in their personal lives. This book isn't a mystery like the other two books in the series. It's more suspense and wondering how and when Elizabeth Avery is going to get caught. She is exposed as the killer very early on and you read about what makes her tick as a sociopath. The subplot of this book focuses on Nicole this time and her struggles with what she finds out in her private life. This is an entertaining quick read, but with no real substance. Overall this is just an average book. I hope the series picks up with the next book. "

" Worth the wait. I was pleased the author didn't find it necessary to resolve every situation. It's interesting listening to this rather than reading it - I'd have been tempted to speed read when it was getting exciting, but that's not possible with the audio. "

" This one was more predictable as she started out explaining the villian. Still a great book with twists and turns! Can't wait to get my hands on The Eyes of Justice so I can see what else is in store for the Triple Threat Club! "

" While I enjoyed the earlier books in this series set in and around a 12th century abbey, I am less enthused about the later entries. As the series progresses, there is less mystery and more about magic and surviving paganism. "
