Publisher Description

The evil in East Salem is no longer content to hide in the shadows. Dani Harris thought there wasn’t much left that could surprise her after serving as a forensic psychiatrist in East Salem. Tommy Gunderson has faced few challenges in his life that he couldn’t overcome by either physical strength or his celebrity status. But as these two race to uncover what’s happening behind the high walls of St. Adrian’s Academy, it becomes clear that supernatural forces have been at work here for generations. And now those forces are determined to block any interference. When the unseen becomes seen, faith is the only weapon strong enough for a battle involving not just murder and betrayal — but angels and demons.

"I loved this second book in the trilogy. It is very good.It contains some evil vs good, angels, demons, and faith, and love thrown in too.It had some great insights, and some murder, and thought provoking scary moments as well.I am looking forward to book 3 out in September. Great author to read. I will try some of her other books as well.I found this series by accident at my library, and am glad.It really held my attention...."

" In my opinion, this is not as good as the first book in the series. "

" Stumbled on the first book at the local library and I loved it! Was there the other day and saw this one, was super excited to read it! I loves it, interesting characters and I like how they all mesh together. Great story, and I cannot wait for the next one "

" Maybe 3.5 stars. Angels and demons battle, but there was a Christian take on it. I hadn't realized it was Christian fiction, and was leery when it turned that way. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! "

" Interesting tale about a group of individuals fighting evil, to include demons and beasts. Strong Christian undercurrent. Ending was definitely Deus ex machina. Enjoy her Triple Threat series better. "

" Didn't finish this book. Started ok but just got kind of boring and didn't keep my interest. So after 120 some pages I called it quits. On the other hand, if you like 'slow' paced action, this might be your cup of tea. I chose to go on to better things... "

" Well, it is a fast read, and it's OK. I loved the first of the East Salem Trilogy, The Waking Hours, but this one just didn't stay on the same scale. I feel I should note that if you are a born-again or Pentecostal Christian, you will probably enjoy this novel a lot. Maybe that was my problem... "
