"I've read all of Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez's books, and I've loved them all. This is actually a YA novel, but I wanted to read it anyhow. I enjoyed this one too. It seems to be a slightly different style from her other books, but not in a bad way. Anyway, I think for people that like to read YA books, give this one a try!"

" This is a good read, but more for young adults. Another one of my favorites. It is about a girl named Paski (it's her nickname) and her dad. She loves biking and lives in New Mexico. Her dad gets a job making his comic strip into a movie, so together they move to California. I won't give anything else away, but it is a really good book. "
— Anna, 2/10/2014" This book was better than I expected it to be. I gave it two stars because I thought the ending was corny, however, keep in mind I am not in the target audience age group. "
— Steph, 1/26/2014" i loved haters alot.it was a summer read. Paski even got the guy!! "

— Softballgirl128, 12/21/2013" One of my best unknown finds at BookExpo 2006 -- I saw very little critical press for this one, but I found it an absolute delight. Another book in the style of "Mean Girls", Valdes-Rodriguez writes spectacularly and her narrator is a funny, sharp, sympathetic girl. More people should read this one! "
— A., 12/20/2013" A pleasure to read. Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez infuses her novels with humor, romance, and silliness as well as political insight. Rare and wonderful! "
— Darshan, 12/18/2013" Chick lit with a multicultural flair. "

— Theresa, 12/5/2013" was a great book but there was a sex scene in it that was a litte bit graphic. personally i didn't think it was needed, but hey other than that it was an ok boo. more of a teenager finds love type thing. And her journey. on finding love. err? "
— Addie, 11/21/2013" Good fast teen read. It was a little different than other teen books, so that was a nice change! "
— Rebecca, 11/19/2013" Fun YA novel about a high school student who is uprooted and resettled in LA. "
— Landismom, 11/9/2013" Haters was an ok-book (one of those books you read to kill time lol). The fact that the characters were unrealistic and the plot was lackluster really ruined the book for me.....Like I said, if you have time on your hands I encourage you to read it..... "
— Chels, 11/3/2013" I read this book back in 8th grade and thought this book was amazing!! To this day I still consider it one of my fav books of all time!! Warning though this book does require maturity due to the small sex scene in the book. "
— Alyssam, 10/31/2013" so far it is a really good book it realtes to alot of things tht are ging on now.. "
— Jackelyn, 10/15/2013" This book was kind of like a serious case of mean girls. But I did enjoy it. But something i hated hated about it was how many times the main character said she was going to cry and never did. "
