"The only thing I don't like about these books is, as a mother, I hoped that I could actually get some points I could use. But magic, unfortunately, is not real, so floating papers, invisible paint, regurgitating drawers and surfaces, and dogs that brush their own teeth can't help me cure my own children's --itis and --- disease. However, with enough imagination, I might be able to apply Mrs. PiggleWiggle's cures in a more mundane manner. Otherwise, I love the idea that somewhere there's an adult who completely understands children!"

" While there are noticeable differences between this one and the previous four actually written by Betty McDonald, we still enjoyed this one tremendously. It was a very fun read aloud. "
— Shiloah, 2/16/2014" Not as good as the originals, but the cures were more timely to kids nowadays. "
— Allison, 2/9/2014" Great series of books by a master storyteller--this is not the best tho' "
— Catherine, 2/8/2014" Who doesn't love Mrs. Piggle Wiggle?! "
— Janelle, 1/29/2014" The Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books were among some of my most treasured books growing up. I was thrilled with the new publication and estatic that the stories were as wonderful as the originals. I seriously think Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle was the original "Super Nanny"! "
— Jeanette, 1/20/2014" I read this book because my boy, Jake really liked it. I remember reading Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books when I was his age and enjoyed seeing him getting into it. "
— Stacey, 1/18/2014" I absolutely adored these books when I was younger. Age six or seven, I started reading these books, and I've never stopped loving them. <3! "
— Georgie, 1/13/2014" So disappointing. I appreciate the effort by Betty MacDonald's daughter but they did a very poor job of capturing her wit and voice. Mediocre at best. "
— Lupine, 1/12/2014" I've been reading these with my daughter, who's teacher has been reading them in class. They're excellent little books about a magic grandma-type woman in the neighborhood who all the parents turn to for help with their children's bad manners. Very fun! "
— Camie, 1/11/2014" This was such a fun and enjoyable book. I finished it really quickly becasue it was so entertaining. Would be a fun birthday gift for students. "
— Ashton, 1/10/2014" While I love Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book, I was a little disappointed in this book. My understanding is that it was written by one of her daughters of stories her mom told them as children (as with the other Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book), but something was missing though I couldn't put my finger on it. "
— Heidi, 12/27/2013" This is the second Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book I have read, and I did not enjoy it as much as the first (the original Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle). The descriptions of the "illnesses" seem to drag on and on. And while Mrs. Piggle-Wiggles cures are always improbable, these seem ridiculous rather than wise. "
— Jennifer, 11/20/2013" I wanted this to be as good as the originals, and while I appreciate the effort, it just lacked the same magic. Maybe it was the absence of Hilary Knight illustrations, or maybe it was just a little bit flat. "
— Elizabeth, 11/20/2013" It's a nanny parents hire and she can help with any problem any of the kids have like, Wont brush your teeth cure, and the just one more t.v. show cure. It's a book for anyone too so that's also good. "
— Lauren, 11/12/2013" I'm so glad that Betty MacDonald's daughter found this book and finished it for her mom. It said that it was the first new Mrs. Piggle Wiggle in 50 years!! It was a really good book, just like all the Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books. "
— Maggie, 11/10/2013" This book has withstood the test of time. I loved it as a young child, and it is still enchanting today. I am a nanny for a precocious 13 month old and she loves the book, or perhaps just the voices I use, who knows? It kept her entertained for both of our ten minute reading times yesterday. "
— Shelley, 11/3/2013" I liked the part where the girl could only use her hands and feet to finish her project and the last chapter - Mrs. Piggle Wiggle's birthday party. This book was funny and silly. "
— Gabriel, 6/16/2013" How could I have missed this? "
— Janet, 3/25/2013" A nice addition to the series. I'm glad that MacDonald's daughter decided to publish it! "
— Annette, 12/5/2012" Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle is such a classic! I think that this book (as with all the other books in this series) emphasizes imagination. Actually, I don't think - I KNOW. "
— Nix, 11/28/2012" Same Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle magic. =) "
— Christine, 9/9/2012" Just as fun as the originals. "
— Lyra, 8/16/2012" This book was really delightful. It was filled humor and joy. "
— Pooja, 7/27/2012" These are such great books for kids and I actually enjoy reading it "

— Bonni, 2/23/2012" i loved it! it has lots of stories in 1 book. "
— Lynae, 9/7/2011" uncorrected proof edition "
— Lisa, 8/19/2011" Daisy can't get enough of Mrs. Pigglw-Wiggle. But I think we may have exhausted her! Shame. "
— Clarissa, 7/24/2011" Haha...all her cures are hilarious. I think my favourite is the Tiny-Bite-Takers case. Love these books! "
— Anna, 6/23/2011" Pretty funny for me, but I don't know that kids would appreciate the humor, since it's all about curing bad behavior in children. "
— Julie, 6/20/2011" Currently reading this to both kids! I love the wacky cures but leads to a great discussion with the kids of these same problems we deal with! Love it! I ordered two more for the summer "
— Kpretzler, 5/27/2011" My Mom used to read this book to us. It combines good imaginative fun, with a fabulous moral at the end. "
— BreeAnne, 5/25/2011" Silly and creative. The comments from the dad's in each story made me laugh :)Enjoyable kids book. "
— Jennifer, 5/23/2011" First chapter book I remember reading "
— Lyndsay, 5/19/2011" Even though this book is extremely old, my kids absolutely loved it. My 4 year old, who sometimes has a hard time with chapter books, was completely enthralled with this one. It is a great read-aloud. I wish I had a Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle to help parent my children. "
— Katie, 5/19/2011" Read this to my class every year and they love it! They are fifth graders too! "

— Kaylan, 4/28/2011" Eliza says- "This is a very good book, for PARENTS! Interesting and fun." "
