Is there a story behind the daily drama of your life?

Being a teenager isn’t always easy. From homework to after-school jobs to having to think about the future, life can feel chaotic. But did you know that the chaos and confusion, as well as the joys and excitements you experience, are part of God’s ordered plan? In this teen adaptation of God’s Story, Your Story, bestselling author Max Lucado explores the divine narrative in the New Testament, as well as several contemporary examples, to show how your everyday life is part of God’s bigger redemption story, and that God is there, no matter what you may face in your life. Real teen responses and real-life application questions are also included to help you further connect God’s narrative to your own. Because God’s story is your story—and he is adding to your chapter every day.

" Lucado has done a great job of spelling out the basics of the Christian faith. My family benefited from reading this book through together. "

" Every Christian in the world needs to read this book. Max is already my very favorite Christian author, but this book is one of the most beautiful snapshots of God's promise for His people I've ever read. Max uses examples from the Bible, from history and from his own life experience to show that "in all things God works for the good of those who love Him" (Romans 8:28). No matter what -- coincidences, accidents, physical or mental impairments, disasters -- nothing in life is meaningless, and all of it points us in the direction God wants us to go. Max points out that no person is on this earth by accident and that each of us has a unique and personally developed task, that no one else can do, to bring glory to God and peace to His people. What an amazing God we have, and I thank Him for beautiful people like Max Lucado to bring Him home to us. "

" I read this for a church book discussion group. Don't let the conversational tone and light language trick you into thinking that this is a light book. Each chapter packs a bit of a 'punch' with bringing faith into every day life. Well worth the journey. "

" Full review coming soon on the site, but I was disappointed in this book. I think it could be great for people who are new to faith, but seems trite and shallow for people who have been living faithful lives for a long time. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Carrie | 5/2/2012

" This was a very short book, only about three hours as an audiobook. Although I enjoy Max Lucado's books, this one didn't tell me much that I didn't already know. But as a gentle reminder of the Great Gift of Jesus and the Holy Spirit in our lives, it has merit. "
