Glenn Beck, the New York Times bestselling author of The Great Reset, revisits Thomas Paine's Common Sense.
In any era, great Americans inspire us to reach our full potential. They know with conviction what they believe within themselves. They understand that all actions have consequences. And they find commonsense solutions to the nation’s problems.
One such American, Thomas Paine, was an ordinary man who changed the course of history by penning Common Sense, the concise 1776 masterpiece in which, through extraordinarily straightforward and indisputable arguments, he encouraged his fellow citizens to take control of America’s future—and, ultimately, her freedom.
Nearly two and a half centuries later, those very freedoms once again hang in the balance. And now, Glenn Beck revisits Paine’s powerful treatise with one purpose: to galvanize Americans to see past government’s easy solutions, two-party monopoly, and illogical methods and take back our great country.

"I really enjoyed Glenn Beck's Common Sense. I loved how he put it into the perspective of our society today. It was really an eye opener! We can't keep avoiding the lies, hypocrisy, and mischief that is taking place in our government today. Glenn Beck brings to light many of those issues and explains how we can use our " Common Sense" in standing up for what is right! I very much recommend this book!"

“An insightful look at what our government is becoming with a remembrance of what inspired the government we now take for granted.”
— Reading for Sanity" A little to dooms day for my liking. He had no problem listing what was wrong but then what do we do with the information. It seemed to leave me feeling helpless more than inspired. But had some interesting thoughts to ponder about our countries future. "

— Jen, 10/21/2013" Glen Beck is a little over the top for my liking but he makes some excellent points about the backwards way the government operates in some areas. "
— Taylormjensen, 9/23/2013" Glenn delves deep into those who wants to bring American down and how out of control, idiotic regulations suffocate small business as well as big business. In addition, how the people are getting the wrong end of the political stick. "

— Kathleen, 5/28/2012" I was worried that this would be a negative and depressing commentary but instead found it to be well thought out and clearly stated. Beck does a good job of explaining the principles our country was founded on and the damage that's being done by our representatives. "

— Patricia, 12/18/2011" This was an interesting but scary book to read. It just made me even more mad (was that possible?) at how our current government is running things. I thought Glenn ranted and raved a little too much however. Still, very informative. "

— Teeni, 3/18/2011" Just ok. I don't think I learned anything new from this book "
— Rick, 3/8/2011" An excellent book. Not political at all, it's about Glenn's personal redemption and some general characterictics/ habits that lead one to genuine happiness. The psychology is interesting, but the in depth look into Glenn's application of these ideas is inspiring "
— Scott, 3/8/2011" I found some valuable insights in this book. "
