"This book is an easy-to-read book that tells about the adventures that Frog and Toad experience together. Five different stories are told about two best friends who are always doing something together. It's a great series that I will want in my future classroom, and something that I remember flipping through and reading as a young child. Beginning readers will love reading this chapter book, and the soft green and brown illustrations will really enhance the story that they are reading. The simplicity of the friendship between the two animals will be admired by all who read."

“Five more wise and wonderful stories…depict the pair with affectionate humor as Frog and Toad test their will power on a bowl of cookies or their shaky bravery on a snake, or wait with anxious solicitation for Toad’s seeds to grow.”

— T, 6/3/2013" Yes, I included this book under "adventure". I know...the part with the snake was the most adventurous thing I ever read back in 2nd grade. For me, it was the greatest thriller of 1976. "
