" Frog and Toad. They are so sweet and wonderful. I love the art and the short stories. THese books teach valuable life lessons and they never once get preachy or talk down to the reader. Good for kindergarten and up. "

" Beginning readers will enjoy the (tragically!) final volume of the Frog and Toad treasury, which features a story for each season in which Frog is his optimistic self and Toad is his slightly worried self, and both are the best of friends. "

" Frog and Toad were sitting by a pond and Frog wanted ice cream, so Toad ran to get some. While he was coming back, he got covered in ice cream because the hot sun melted it. Then he got covered in leaves in sticks because the ice cream was sticky. A rabbit ran by Frog and told him there was a big monster with sticks and leaves and horns coming this way, but it was really just Toad. That was my favorite chapter. "
