"I thought Freak the Mighty was very funny and had a good plot. It has interesting characters and the main character's descriptions on life was funny. It's the kind of book where you just can't skip to the end of the book to find out about the whole book. You really need to read the book to understand the whole plot. I would recommend this book to my friends."

— Maria, 2/20/2014" I remember reading this book in 7th grade; it was a book I enjoyed quite very much. It was the first book I was exposed to that was so raw with emotion and I really appreciated it, as I still do now. This is a beautiful story. Whether you're young, old, or in between, make sure you squeeze this short, touching novel into your life. You won't regret it. "
— Aia, 2/5/2014" I love this book. It was one of the books I had to read in 7th grade with my class and then we watch the movie which was excellent. It just telling you that never judge a person by how they appear. "
— Korin, 1/28/2014" Sweet YA story. Be careful with sensitive kids, as the ending is a downer and a younger child might not be prepared for it. "
— AnnMarie, 1/11/2014" This is a story of two boys, neither with an ideal life, coming together and leaving a positive mark on the other. A quick easy read. "
— Vonnie, 12/21/2013" In sixth grade, the majority of our class was tearing up when we finished this together. I liked it a lot. "
