Quotes

  • “[Smith] gives the survival story an extra dose of octane with some escaped wild animals—in this case, a tiger that nearly devours Chase. In the end, many mysteries remain, and fans will hope for more adventures to come.”

    — Booklist
  • “Breakneck…a wild, roller-coaster ride.”

" This is supposed to be the last in the series. However, they leave an open ending for more. Great short and high interest series for all but especially the reluctant reader. "

" I was looking forward to the end of this trilogy about Chase Masters and his storm running father. However, it got too crazy for me. I imagine the kids who liked the first 2 books will also like this one because the only thing that might be more intense than surviving a hurricane (books 1 and 2) would by surviving earthquakes and a volcanic eruption (this book). Plus Smith throws in a tiger on the loose that seems to be tracking Chase. "

" The last book in this trilogy did not slow down in the action. One bad luck event after another...but nothing stops Chase and his friends. Truly amazing. "

" Storm runners 3 the book is better than the Storm runners 2 but not as good as storm runners 1. But after Storm runners 2 they get out of the storm but it not over yet there going to be more bad weather. If you read the first 2 book and you like than try this book it a good book. "
