"Thank you so much Ginger for your love and respect for Elvis, which is so apparent in your Memoir! It’s 2022 and I watched Elvis (the movie in theaters) and it was incredible , so grateful for their love and respect and truth telling was so appreciative as a society then and today. Elvis was like our American Hercules, sent to save the world with his strength and gifts. After I watched Elvis though, I felt unsettled and sad. Longing for more, it tortured my thoughts and heart for nearly a week. And then I came across Ginger and Elvis (it really did feel like a gift from Elvis through Ginger) telling who he really was and the man he had become, and who was by his side during his literal last breath. And I feel so much better and uplifted , knowing this intimate inside look, how much hope and love and life was before him. He had new dreams and he died knowing he was loved by “Gingerbread”.
