New York Times best-selling author Robyn Carr has earned multiple RITAs for her tales of romance. Set in Grace Valley, California, Deep in the Valley reveals the sweetness of love and the strength of family ties. June Hudson grows up in Grace Valley as the town doctor's daughter. "If I wanna be honest about this book, I can say I was tired of all that explanation about characters. I'm not against the power of story-telling of Robyn Carr but I think, it was too excessive at some point and you felt that you have already read what she has said before. Perhaps,I was used to read the books that wrap up the whole story not with focused details. Hence, talking about the story and the way June Hudson hid his lover from all nosy people of Grace Valley was thrilling and full of excitement."

" Oh my goodness, I'm very glad I started the Grace Valley triology before the Virgin River series, it was able to give me a slightly better background to the Virgin River series when they refer to the Grace Valley Doctors. I was not able to put this book down wondering what was going to happen next. "

" Very detailed book that is the beginning of this series that has a real good explanation of each character and starts building the background for the town, characters, and situations. It is similar, but yet different, than the Virgin River Series and some of these characters are mentioned and intertwined with the Virgin River Series. Very good book - can't wait to reach the rest of the trilogy. "
