"If you like a good old Sunday night Hallmark Special movie on TV you will love this book. And, I enjoy a good Hallmark Special. I really enjoyed this book. Its charactor development was good and the story kept moving, no long dry periods. I recommend this book as a very good read. "

" This was a good book but it took forever for the main characters to get together. "

" I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could. These family branch series by Miller are nothing spectacular or life-changing, but they are easy, romantic reads that make you feel good in the end. I was kinda of suprised with this one because after reading the first few chapters, with little to no interaction-action between our couple I was getting a little bored. However, I kept reading and before I knew it I was over half way thru the book. Conner is a likeable, handsome, honest cowboy looking for love and a family & Tricia is a lonely, beautiful gal, afraid to love but at a crossroads in her life. Miller is a big advocate for the Humane Society, and it's always fun to see how she works in the stray or lost dog or cat into her stories. She makes me want to take in every stray I come across. One thing I chuckled at; the 10 year old girl asking for the entire Twilight series and Tricia laughing and shaking her head at teen vampires in love. "

" Another miss for me I just didn't feel any connection to these characters. I know the middle books seem to stall out but this was so boring I almost couldn't read it. Hoping the next book is better. "

" This is the second of The Creed Cowbows trilogy by Linda Lael Miller. It is the story of Connor Creed and Tricia Mccall. Typical Miller contemporary western. Formulaic. But that's okay. Good, quick read. "

" You know I dont know what happen, Miller used to be one of my favorite authors, but this is the second book that has been a bust to me. I dont understand it. I LOVED her past cowboy books but this one and the creed in stone creek were just blah. Hopefully the third will be better. "
