Publisher Description

As the middle sister in a family with three girls, Stevie Reel doesn't know much about boys, and that's always been just fine with her. But lately, things have been changing: kids at school are starting to pair up, and Owen, the new boy in her Earth Science class, seems to have his sights set on her. The trouble is, Stevie doesn't want a boyfriend - she's not even sure that she's ready to have a boy friend. And her sisters, who know exactly where they stand on the issue of boys, are no help: Alex is too busy trying to orchestrate a perfect, Romeo-and-Juliet - style first kiss from her crush, Scott Towel, while Joey can't understand why anyone would prefer a boy over a frog, anyway. If only figuring out boys were as easy as predicting the weather!

"Great book for tweens looking for realistic fiction about family or school! This is the story of 14 year-old Alex, 12 year-old Stevie and 10 year-old Joey; all three sisters have distinctly different personalities in this story about young love. Alex is a drama queen, Stevie is the practical one and Joey is a scientist and list maker. Fans of the Penderwick sisters and/or Allie Finkle will like this one, too."

" This book is amazing. At first when I read the first chapter I was kind of confused about what it had to do with anything. But, that just gives you something to be curious about. Once you get even further into the book it starts to become the cutest, funniest romance novel. IT'S JUST ADORABLE! I had fun reading it! "

" I LOVE this series. Very big fan of Megan McDonald! Great job on the Judy Moody movie too! Enjoyable. This series is fun, short chapters and very likable characters. Hopefully it will encourage a new generation to find out more about theater and Shakespeare also. Fun series! "

" This book was awesome. There was this girl who was very caught up in school and sports and didn't really care or have time for boys. Until one day this one boy came and suddenly she had feelings . Megan McDONALD is an awesome author ! "

" Cute but I liked the Judy Moody series better. The reading level is accessible for struggling 4th grade readers but much of the book focuses on wanting a first kiss so it felt too sophisticated for many 4th graders. "

" A cute story about three sisters in a drama filled house. The plot didn't pick up (at least for me) until almost the end. I wish there was a little more detail on the setting, the characters, and maybe some outside friends. Younger than my usual fare, but no less fluffy fun. "
