"i really like learning about kings and queens of eqypt so i picked this book and i was glade i did becues thire where things i did not know about cleopatra. my 3 best pages i liked was when she let her favite maid have freedom instedd of bying mean to them like her sisters. 2 was when she found out her father was going to rome and she goes with him becuase she is afraid. my 1 was when they came back to equypt and her father let her be next in thrown and how her father chaped her 2 in line sister. i think that cleopatra is a breave queen and a curise one to. she has a kind heart and not weak like her fathers. if you like to learn about cleopatra life start with this book"

" I love this book... the only thing that i have to say is that I think the end wasn't very good. It should have been a little longer. But, I love Cleopatra and Egypt and this was a good author. "

" Cleopatra VII lives with her father, the king, her good sister, Berenice, and her evil sister, Tryphaena. Everyone in Egypt hates Cleopatra's father, so the king goes to Rome to seek soldiers who will destroy the city. When the soldiers attack, the king will come back and "save" his people. Cleopatra goes with him. Meanwhile, Tryphaena takes over as queen and pharaoh. She exiles her father and Cleopatra. If either of them return, they will be killed... "

" My rating is pure nostalgia - I barely remember the plot or writing, but this book had a deep impact on my development. It's why I love Cleopatra unconditionally. The series (Royal Diaries) gave me a much broader understanding of history than an elementary school education did. "
