- I liked the book WITH Reservations....
I am so sick of hearing day after day and year after year and decade after decade about "Ghetto speak" and We should be treated the same. My personal opinion: GET AN EDUCATION and Learn a good job and speak ENGLISH and NOT "Ghetto speak" or ""Ebonics""
Almost turned it off 4 times.... and asked for a refund... If I wanted to hear ghetto speak..I would live there...OR ""hang out with Homies" and listen to RAP
otherwise the book.... about a third of the way through, starts to catch my interest... then the last half was great.
Author:S. A. Cosby: remove the """ghetto speak / ebonics""" and more good novels like this, you will have a new customer.
