" Talk about angst. This book held no surprises. The plot was easy to follow and oh so sad. I'm sure from the character's point of view it was all a shock. From the reader's point of view, I felt like I was watching a train wreck in Iowa. It's a plain as day to see the trains are going to collide and the collateral damage will be large. I've never had children so I can't speak to how upsetting it is to lose a child but most especially to have one stolen. This book broke my heart a little. I rate it a 3.5 star. But since I round down, it is only a 3. I do recommend this book to people who want to feel a bit more emotion in their romance. "

" I absolutely LOVED the relationship between Callie and Jake. Their chemistry was SO magnetic and together their interaction with each other was just hilarious. Reading this you could actually visualize a REAL LIFE couple going through the scenarios. What I also loved was the job that Callie did. The fact that she would dig up sites to find all these ancient things was HIGHLY interesting. Reading her passion for it almost made ME want to do the same thing! "

" I didn't know what to expect from this book, but I really enjoyed it. It starts off with a baby that is kidnapped at 3 months old and goes onto chronicle what happened to that girl. It actually turns into a mystery of sorts. It is well written and the characters are likable. I liked it! "
