About the Authors

Kate DiCamillo is an American author of children’s fiction and twice winner of the Newbery Medal. Several of her books made the New York Times bestsellers list. Her debut novel, the award-winning Because of Winn-Dixie, was made into a major motion picture, and her book The Tiger Rising was a finalist for the National Book Award. She is the US National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature for 2014 to 2015, appointed by the Library of Congress.

Alison McGhee is an acclaimed author. She writes for all ages and in all forms, from poetry and stories to novels, picture books, and essays, and her books are popular with critics and readers alike. Her novel Shadow Baby was a Today Show Book Club pick, and her picture book Someday was featured on NPR.

About the Narrators

Kate Micucci is an American actress, comedian, singer-songwriter, and artist. She is one half of the musical comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates.

Erika “Riki” Lindhome is an American actress, comedian and musician. She is best known for roles in television shows including Garfunkel and Oates, Gilmore Girls, House, and The Big Bang Theory.
