" Loved it more than the first book of this trilogy. Can't wait for book 3! Hopefully with that book ALL of my questions will be answered! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Beth | 1/5/2014

" Loved it! Especially the way all three girls' characters are changing throughout the series. Sophie is my new favorite. Can't wait to read the next one! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Caroline | 1/3/2014

" There were no surprises to this book. The ending was as expected, and the book was well written. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Acarrawa | 12/29/2013

" Rather wordy, contrived, and somewhat unbelievable. Not really what I think of when I think "Christian fiction". "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Tiffany | 12/29/2013

" The first half of the book was o.k. Sophie's character was a little annoying to me. Fanny and Amanda were likable but I struggled to get through the book. Half way through the book picked up some and Sophie was more likable. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Denise | 12/11/2013

" I may be biased due to the fact that I have started and been repulsed by multiple nonfiction books lately. I loved this romantic, quick, totally fiction book for a change. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Teresa | 12/3/2013

" I thoroughly enjoy these books! An easy read. I love the 3 main characters and love to hate the villian. It just makes me so mad that there could be such greed and deception within a family. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Darlene | 11/30/2013

" This trilogy could of been condensed to one book. The hokey schemes of Uncle Jonas continue throughout volume two, still leaving us hanging at the end. Will he succeed in stealing the inheritance...who cares...I will not pay the cost of the third book to find out!!! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Rachel | 9/12/2013

    " can't wait for book 3 "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 JJ | 5/21/2013

" Other than being set largely in Rochester, I thought this was blah, blah, blah. Totally written to get you to read her other books which I won't be. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Rachel | 3/22/2013

" This book, like the one before it was totally predictable. While I understand this is a feature of many romance novels, I like a little creativity in the plot. The only slightly interesting character is the villain, if I do read the third book it will only be to find out what happens to him. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Stephanie | 1/31/2013

" Another novel in a series set in the Thousand Islands in late 1800s. I liked that the main character in an inspirational fiction novel gets pregnant and it is dealt with without judgement. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kellie | 12/5/2012

" I listened to this, as well, doing jobs at the house. A fun, bit cheesy, book. Does carry some Christian elements as well. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Esther | 10/20/2011

" Well written but the ending part was not wrapped up well. I realize this is part of a series but it left to many unanswered questions. "

" Better then the first novel, I'm looking forward to the final installment of this series. I wish they would be made into a Hallmark Movie!! Well anyone of these author's books would make great hallmark movies. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Kati | 8/2/2009

" This 2nd book in "The Broadmoor Legacy" series was much better than the first. I still would like closure on Fanny's story, so I'm on to book three in hopes I will get it. The storyline in this book seemed to move a bit faster and didn't feel like it was rehashing the same thing over and over. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Claudia | 7/29/2009

" Similar to first book - fun, easy read. Looking forward to book #3 when it comes out this summer to tie up some loose ends. "

" Book was good, not spectacular, but still good. Looking forward to reading the 3rd one of the series. "
