"The main character Bethanne is a divorced women who reinvented herself. Her husband of twenty years told her he loved someone else. He later married the women. Bethanne started her own company and was doing well. Both of her kids loved their father. The girl, Annie was totally loyal to the father and hoped that her mom and dad would get back together. The ex grandmother plans a trip for Washington state to Florida for a class reunion. On the spur of the moment Bethanne agrees to go with her to help sort out her feelings for her ex husband. Annie gets hurt by her current boyfriend so she decides to go along too on the trip. They run into car trouble, stop to help out an old friend of the grandmothers and learn about themselves and each other. It was a cute book. I stayed up to finish. Who do you choose the exhusband who betrayed you, but swears he won't do it again or the new man you don't know much about but who stirs your soul? It was a good book to help with the stress of real life."

" Bethanne and her daughter Annie decided to accompany Ruth,Bethanne's ex-mother-in-law, on a trip from their home in Seattle to Ruth's high school reunion in Florida. Throughout the entire trip, Annie and Bethanne's ex-husband, Grant, work to convince Bethanne to reconcile with Grant. Bethanne has built a new life since Grant broke her heart six years ago when he left her to marry a younger woman, who he has now divorced. I enjoyed the story lines about Annie's broken romance,Ruth's journey to reconnect to a childhood sweetheart, and the chance encounter that led to a new romance for Bethanne. However, if I were Bethanne, I would have blocked Grant's phone number on my cell phone and thrown Annie out of the car because it seemed like they spent the entire cross-country trip hounding her to get back together with Grant. I realize that Macomber needed some repetition to build the suspense, but it seemed overdone and was boring at times. "
