Meanwhile, Annie’s out to prove to her onetime boyfriend that she can live a brilliant life without him!
So there they are, three women driving across America. They have their maps and their directions—but even the best-planned journey can take you to a turn in the road. Or lead you to an unexpected encounter—like the day Bethanne meets a man named Max who really is a hero on a Harley. That’s when Bethanne’s decision becomes a lot harder. Because Grant wants her back, but now there’s Max.…

"another great addition to the blossom street series. bethanne has to decide whether to reconcile with her exhusband grant. he regrets leaving his family for the "lovely tiffany" as his daughter annie calls her. grants mother ruth decides to drive to florida for her 50th reunion. bethanne decides to go with her to think about her decision. along the way theyre rescued by 2 bikers when their car breaks down. max follows them along the way. he and bethanne fall for each other. a little predictable but i still loved it. hoping for more in the series."

" I loved this book from start to finish. The characters were good, the story kept my interest the entire time. The narrator was good and did not bore me. I have not listened to the radio in my car for years now. "
— Dina, 7/1/2020" This isn't one of my favorite Debbie Macomber or Blossom Street stories. The premise had a lot of promise but I feel like it didn't reach its potential. I didn't find Annie to be a likable character - I wanted to slap her a few times. I was hoping the story would be more about the road trip, instead it was more about Bethanne and "the biker," and the few towns they stopped out - Vegas and Branson - prior to getting to Florida. Ruth's romance was predictable but sweet. Annie's romance was running parallel to Bethanne's but was too selfish and immature to notice until the end. I was never able to be sympathetic toward Grant's character. There was the inevitable HEA, that was nice. "
— Lea, 2/15/2014" this was an easy read. woman takes a road trip with ex-mother-in-law and daughter across the country. trying to move on from ex-husband and meets biker guy who likes her. "
— Becky, 2/2/2014" Sweet sweet love story! "
— Leigh, 1/28/2014" Meh. It is what it is, I guess: An easy read that doesn't have many surprises. It was nice to sit out at the pool and read... "
— Jeannette, 1/14/2014" This was a fun book to read. "
— Jeanette, 1/11/2014" Loved this book, and excellent story about an adventure with 3 women and 2 find their true love. "
— Renn, 12/28/2013" I loved this book..I think it was one of the best Debbie Macomber books that i have read. "
— Rochelle, 12/24/2013" Love the series. This book had several story lines going, and it wasn't as smooth reading but still love it. I'd say this is more like a 3.6 for me. "
— Jaxmarie, 12/16/2013" This Blosssom Street book kept me guessing to the end. Debbie Macomber is total brain candy and ususally fairly predictable, but certainly enjoyable. This may be one of the better books in the series. It makes you want to go on a road trip with people you love and see where fate will lead. "
— Ivy, 12/8/2013" this was a great book. a nice change of pace from the murder mysteries i always read! "
— Kelly, 11/30/2013" Kept mentally shouting, "Leopards don't change their spots!!!" all throught the book. Happy with the ending. "
— Sherry, 11/26/2013" Another wonderful book from Debbie Macomber. I hesitated reading this one for some reason..didn't feel compelled to grab it when it first came out. But it was a lovely story. I kept being torn between Grant and Max, just as Bethanne was. Debbie kept me wondering up to the very last. "
— Sally, 11/9/2013" While I really liked Hannah's List, A Turn in the Road was a disappointment. "
— Helen, 10/29/2013" I liked this books book about three women and go on a road trip to Florida for a high school reunion. They take several side trips and meet new people that help them reassess their current relationships. This is a books I'll read again. "
— Donna, 10/27/2013" Sappy,predictable, and a lovely read. "
— Nicole, 10/20/2013" I need a category for "bestseller via marketing, general low standards of readers". "
— Ray, 10/4/2013" Corny and repetitive and hard to finish!!! "
— Nicci, 9/5/2013" Very good! Loved it "
— Jennifer, 4/24/2013" This book was very interesting. Some of it I could predict the outcome but a few times I was very surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed it. "
— Maxine, 4/23/2013" A fun clean roadtrip. "
— Serena, 3/11/2012" Nothing better than a great Macomber read!! "
— Ryan, 1/1/2012" painfully predictable and very repetitive to the point of being annoying "
— Kathryn, 8/22/2011" No girl in their right mind would feel sorry for the ending of her ex husbands marriage to his mistress....I can go on and on.... "
— Danielle, 8/15/2011" just read it as a summer read...and it was just that! might even have given it a 3.5 rating. I have read the other blossom street books, but you don't have to have read any others in the series since they always seem to be about different times in the character's lives and take on new characters. "
— Amanda, 7/5/2011" Another great book by Dennie Macomber. I love the the characters, storylines, I just really love her books. "
