"I think this gets off to a bit of a rocky start - the borderline spinster heroine starts out too prudish and uptight, and the hero is crueler to her than I think he should have been allowed to get away with. Even so, and even with a lot of historical romance tropes I've seen before, this book totally won me over by the end, and I'm looking forward to the next one in the series."
