Youssef Mourra lives in New Zealand. He was born in Lebanon and migrated as a nine-month-old with his parents to Australia in 1967. Still in recovery from that upbringing, Youssef first discovered the world of Sideways after watching the movie in a cinema. The movie had a major impact on his drinking as he immediately switched to drinking Pinot Noir, forsaking cheap “Cab Savs” and other grape-flavored liquids. Fueled up with the passion for Sideways, he wrote a “fan boy” letter/email to the creator of Sideways, Rex Pickett, and the rest, as they say, is a mystery as to why Rex chose Youssef to become his partner in this amazing podcast project.
