Mark Burgess is an experienced actor and playwright. His television credits include playing Gordon Collins in Brookside, and he has written six plays for BBC Radio 4, all based on true stories. They include Einstein in Cromer, The Wrong Hero (the story of Leslie Howard’s death in 1943 in a commercial plane shot down by the Luftwaffe) and From Father with Love (about Ian Fleming’s distant relationship with his son Caspar). Mark has also written and performed the one-man stage show about Ian Fleming, The Man with the Golden Pen.
