Dr. Ronen Bergman is a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine—writing extensively on Middle Eastern politics and affairs. Dr. Bergman is the author of five bestselling Hebrew language nonfiction books, as well as his recent book The Secret War with Iran: The 30-Year Clandestine Struggle against the World’s Most Dangerous Terrorist Power. Dr. Bergman received a PhD with distinction in History and International Relations from Cambridge University, and also graduated cum laude from Haifa University Law School and is a member of the Israeli Bar. Presently, Dr. Bergman is working on the development of a film script based on his book on Israeli POWs and MIAs.
