Janet Clark Shay Audio Books

Janet Clark Shay is a freelance writer with a special emphasis on stories from a Christian perspective. Born in Colorado, she attended Fort Hays State University and Emporia State University in that state. Two of her short stories have been published in national magazines, and she has written numerous programs and skits. While possessing an eclectic writing style, Janet loves “all things children” and her audio book Plop! Goes the Blue Swirl Ice Cream was born out of her desire to help children grow in wisdom and knowledge. Her adult biographies, The Prayer that Makes a Difference: The Biography of Oma Van Gelderen, and This Side of Heaven: One Man’s Journey to Spiritual Sight are works especially close to her heart as they reinforce the power of prayer. Janet owns and operates Sable Creek Press, an independent publishing company. Through that company she has also self-published several of her own books. She lives with her husband, Harold in Glendale, AZ. They have two children and eleven grandchildren.
