A native of northeastern Ohio, he discovered a passion for history at an early age. His published work has appeared in multiple journals, including Civil War History and the Pennsylvania Magazine of History & Biography. He lives with his wife in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, a stone’s throw from the battlefield.
