Armin Shimerman Audio Books

Science fiction fans are familiar with Armin Shimerman for his portrayal of Quark on Star Trek: DS-9 and Principal Snyder on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His versatility as an actor has allowed him to appear in over sixty different roles in a variety of television programs.

In addition, he cowrote four sci-fi novels; The 34th Rule, The Merchant Prince, Outrageous Fortune, and A Capital Offense and is currently penning a Tudor mystery, The Toad-eater. Armin is a founding member of Alien Voices, a sci-fi audio theatre group with John DeLancie and Leonard Nimoy, which records classic sci-fi stories.

After graduating from UCLA with a degree in English, Armin apprenticed at the prestigious San Diego Old Globe Shakespeare Theater. Eventually he moved to New York, where he performed in several highly acclaimed productions, including Three Penny Opera, St. Joan, Broadway, and I Remember Mama.  In addition, his performances in regional theaters such as the Connecticut Shakespeare Theater and the Tyrone Guthrie Theater won critical praise, and he was nominated for best lead perfomance by the Los Angeles Critics Circle for his role in Pinter’s The Birthday Party.
