"What a riviting book this was and I knew I would love it after reading the cover. After being raised by a mother with no feelings for 17yrs Elizabeth only wants to be like other girls! She isnt bc she is super smart and is already in college when her classmates she was in school with are still in high school but in one night everything changes! She goes to the mall to do some shopping to be like other kids and dress how they dress and she meets up with Julie a girl she went to school with and they take off on a shopping spree to help Beth look more like her age.....after they are done they decide to go out on the town while her mom is out of town and after this night it changes Beth's life forever! A must read if you like suspsense, love, and relationships! Sometimes its not what you know but who you know! There are times when you can trust no one and times you have to go with your inner gut and know who and who not to trust. Also, everyone has a Mr. or Ms. Right even thou u think you dont! 5+* Great Job Nora! I hope to make a book signing someday soon at ttp!"

" Compelling suspense plot, decent writing, predictable romance. "
— Cat, 2/9/2014" I was involved in the suspense plot but Roberts included too much romance for my taste. "
— Natalie, 2/9/2014" Perfect novel..those who like romance with extra flavor of suspense, few smiling moments, a strong nerdy woman, boy next door, a genius plot, an intriguing story with tangle of emotions and much much more, then this is just the book you have stumbled upon. "
— Venus, 2/2/2014" After several books that were not at all up to her normal standards, and rather felt like she was writing with half-assed attention, The Witness is a return to the Nora Roberts I have loved for years. Great action, development, and romance- without the latter feeling contrived and too easy. "
— Maggie, 1/26/2014" clever writing as always - loved it. "
— Yolanda, 1/21/2014" I love Rora Roberts books, you just never know for sure where it will go. "
— Tammy, 1/18/2014" Nora rocks with this book! So suspenseful and the plot had so many twists and turns! I was all in! "
— Lonnie, 12/18/2013" couldn't put it down. it kept you interested with never a dull moment "
— Tammy, 12/10/2013" As always a good Nora Roberts book "
— Marcia, 12/7/2013" Love Nora Roberts. Always a safe bet for an easy read. Her stories move along quickly, the plot and characters are always interesting. Don't know how she keeps turning out winners. "
— Menoula, 11/23/2013" Nora Roberts is back at the top of her game with this romantic thriller. "
— Margie, 11/6/2013" This probably just became one of my favorite books by her. "
— Julie, 10/29/2013" Having been a fan of Nora Roberts I have read most of her books and keep a large collection of them to read again. "
— Mary, 7/23/2013" A little draggy at times but a great love story and action story! Never thought I'd like a Nora Roberts book but I think I may actually try to read more of her books. "
— Rochelle, 6/20/2013" Hard to put it down! My first Nora book. I'm hungry for more. "
— C, 5/28/2013" I love Nora Roberts, but this is *not* one of my favorites. My two biggest issues: I didn't fully believe the danger to Abigail, and the ending felt rushed, the climax rather... well, anti-climatic. However, I did love Brooks. He was fun to read and the three stars are for him. "
— Tonya, 5/27/2013" I love Abigail lowery! She is totally opposite Elizabeth Fitch. Never have I read about such a cold hearted mother as Elizabteh's. How would the story bennndifferent if Eliazabeth had a normal childhood. "
— Margaret, 3/6/2013" OMG!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! Captured my attention from the very beginning and I just couldn't put it down! I would recommend this book to ANYONE!!! :) "
— Kailee, 2/13/2013" I loved this book!! Nora Roberts really knows how to connect you to the characters. Elizabeth/Liz/Abigail was such a great character to follow, especially when Brooks came in the picture. I listened to this on Audible and the narrator did a wonderful job. I high recommend this book "
— Alicia, 9/5/2012" I enjoyed this book but I could NOT stop thinking the character's personality and dialogue were straight from Bones (the TV show doctor). I couldn't help thinking NR copied her personality for this book. "
— Leigh, 8/25/2012" What a great read. The end was disappointing but it kept up the suspense for most of the book. "
— Deanna, 6/24/2012" The best of her recent books. Really enjoyed it. "
