"What a riviting book this was and I knew I would love it after reading the cover. After being raised by a mother with no feelings for 17yrs Elizabeth only wants to be like other girls! She isnt bc she is super smart and is already in college when her classmates she was in school with are still in high school but in one night everything changes! She goes to the mall to do some shopping to be like other kids and dress how they dress and she meets up with Julie a girl she went to school with and they take off on a shopping spree to help Beth look more like her age.....after they are done they decide to go out on the town while her mom is out of town and after this night it changes Beth's life forever! A must read if you like suspsense, love, and relationships! Sometimes its not what you know but who you know! There are times when you can trust no one and times you have to go with your inner gut and know who and who not to trust. Also, everyone has a Mr. or Ms. Right even thou u think you dont! 5+* Great Job Nora! I hope to make a book signing someday soon at ttp!"

" Compelling suspense plot, decent writing, predictable romance. "
— Cat, 2/9/2014" I was involved in the suspense plot but Roberts included too much romance for my taste. "
— Natalie, 2/9/2014" Perfect novel..those who like romance with extra flavor of suspense, few smiling moments, a strong nerdy woman, boy next door, a genius plot, an intriguing story with tangle of emotions and much much more, then this is just the book you have stumbled upon. "
— Venus, 2/2/2014" After several books that were not at all up to her normal standards, and rather felt like she was writing with half-assed attention, The Witness is a return to the Nora Roberts I have loved for years. Great action, development, and romance- without the latter feeling contrived and too easy. "
— Maggie, 1/26/2014" clever writing as always - loved it. "
