"What an amazing book! What an incredible journey! I wish I had this book 26 years ago. This is a must read for anyone who suffers from ED (eating disorders), especially binging or compulsive over-eating. This book definitely gave me one of those light bulb moments and I know that I will continue to use this book as a resource and comfort in my life."

" This book was a bit of a rollercoaster for me. It's probably the only good thing that came out of a terrible counseling session I had recently...the counselor recommended it to me. What was strange was that I could totally identify with the author one minute and then be thinking she was crazy the next. Ultimately, I learned a bit about compulsive eating and gained some insight into myself. I plan to read a couple other books by this author that she referred to in this one. "

Her thoughts on the overlapping of food and love in the lives of overeaters is very thought provoking. I felt like she spoke so clearly for me and many other women. I highly recommend it. "
