About the Authors
Daaimah S. Poole was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from Temple University with a BA in journalism. She is a journalist and the author of thirteen novels and counting.
Candice Dow is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She resides in Maryland with her son and loves to travel.
About the Narrators
Kim Brockington is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and an accomplished, stage and screen actress. She enjoys meditation, yoga, and long walks, writing poetry and fiction, cooking and spending time with her beloved family in NYC.
