" This one is pretty depressing...there are some minor victories, but basically the only thing good that happens to the protagonists is "everyone hates us and temporarily tolerates us" instead of "everyone hates us and leaves us in jail". "

" Te series is just like a downsloping hill: Book 1 was great book 2 was nice book 3 was dull book 4 was boring and now book 5, I won't even bother to finish it. "

" I think I still like the first book in the series best, but this one is pretty close. I really enjoyed it, especially the battle scene near the end. Again we have a cliffhanger so that I feel compelled to read the next installment. "

" It was so sad! I loved the part where the dragons from the breeding grounds showed up with Temeraire to help the battle, if only because there was the standoff between the Regal Coppers. Heh, I love those guys. "

" This one just didn't click with me as the other books. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, but it felt too...easy. Like everything just clicked into placed with that much effort. But I'm looking forward to reading the next book. "
